Ipdate

Hi Friends,
'm basically feeling well Still a bit unsteady. I've xtopped
driving mainly because I'm not as sharp as I need
to be. However, that's a small problem in the overall
scheme of things. I'm lucky to be as good as I am. There are lots of friends voluntaring to drive me wherever and whenever.A bit of an
inconvenience ,no big deal. Enjoy today, I'm going to.
Hugs to all,
Berry

MRI

Hi friends
The MRI showed no reason to get either
too high or too low. There was some slight increase
in size. Our approach is that the chemo has not had time to have effect yet.
Remember how good life is.
Show how much people mean to you.Just a simple hug
will do it
Love and hugs to you all,
Barry

A wonderful weekend

Hi friends.
Pam and I took Bates up to Toronto
for 6 days to see Dave and had a great time.
I'm feeling pretty good But I have been a
little unsteady on my feet. I'm ok if I watch
myself carefully. MRI booked for
tomorrow. Tolerating the chemotherapy
quite well.Considering the condition that
I could be in I still consider myself quite
luckyHugs to you all,

Halifax

Hi folks,
Back from Halifax. It went basically as I expected. They have
switched me to another chemotherapy regime that will be
co-ordinated here in Charlottetown. The new program is called
CCNU and is designed to hopefully keep tumour cells from
duplicating. When on it you are more susceptible to
bleeding, infection, and anemia. However, I am glad to be on it.
Remember to focus on the good things each day. It's there
if you look for it.
It makes me very warm inside when I hear comments about people's
experience with hugs. Such a simple concept. So much value.
I know you are concerned about me. I feel the hugs. They help.
Lots of hugs and love,
Barry

Focus

Hi friends,
I was asked the other day how I can go on like I do. Well,
I only have one bad thing in my life and I can't ignore that . But
I have many, many good things in my life also. I focus on them. That
approach allows me to enjoy virtually every minute of every
day. Try it, it works.
Feeling fine. Off to Halifax Tuesday probably for a chemotherapy
change.Don't forget the power and the value of hugs.
Hugs and love to you all,
Barry
