MRI today

Hi friends,
The MRI today was not good. The main lesion has roughly
doubled in size over the past two months. The good part
about it was that there were no "satellite' lesions and
consquently (Ihope) further surgery will still
be an option when symptoms warrant that. I would also
rather suspect that they will try another type of
chemotherapy .
I was disappointed with it but I am not dejected. There are
still other options.
Once again, hugs become even more important.

Hugs and love to you all,
Barry

Another Great Day

Hi friends,
I just got back from a great trip. Friday in Kingston Ontario I was at the junior
game there when they retired Dave's number. It was quite an honour for him
and he spoke very well. Saturday I flew to Boston where he played with
the Leafs against the Bruins. I don't know who was more thrilled, him or me.
I continue to feel great. MRI booked for Wednesday. My fingers are crossed.
I really think that all your prayers and positive thoughts are working. Thanks.
I wish I could reach through this computor and give you all a big hug.
Love and hugs'

Feeling great

Hi friends,
Continuing to feel great. MRI booked for the 26th.
Was in Toronto on the week-end to see Dave trying out
for the Leafs. They had an inter squad game on Sunday. He
did alright and didn"t look out of place. With a little luck
and some injuries to other people, you never know what
will happen.
When you say goodbye to a loved one, do it like you may never
get the opportunity again. You never know. Distribute hugs
like uou have too many. You know how warm you feel
when you get an unexpected hug---- so do others. Just for
interest sake, count how many hugs you give away tomorrew.
Then try and surpass that number the next day. It's fun.
Love you all,
Barry

That time again

Hi friends,
It's amazing what all this has done to me. Getting a scare like I
did has really changed my general outlook on life. All I see in
people now is the good. Everywhere I look all I see is good. Don't
wait for that scare. People are good. The world is good. If you
appreciate that, life is so much enhanced.
I feel great. MRI booked for Sept.26.
Give a loved one a hug today for no particular reason other than
for just being them.
A computor hug to you all,
Barry

Monday again

Hi friends,
Another great week. I go to Halifax tomorrow for a routine chemotherapy
visit. MRI next week. Pam is feeling great. Dave left this morning for the
Maple Leaf camp in Toronto.
We were over to the Faith Hill and Tim McGaw concert in Moncton on
Saturday. Had a great time.
A hug is not just a hug. It is a show of warmth and affection. Don't be afraid
to show it.
Love you all,
Barry
