Focus

Hi friends,
I was asked the other day how I can go on like I do. Well,
I only have one bad thing in my life and I can't ignore that . But
I have many, many good things in my life also. I focus on them. That
approach allows me to enjoy virtually every minute of every
day. Try it, it works.
Feeling fine. Off to Halifax Tuesday probably for a chemotherapy
change.Don't forget the power and the value of hugs.
Hugs and love to you all,
Barry

Barry, Your smile and positive attitude is infectious. Your "excuse me, but can I hug your Doctor" comment the other day made my day! I know you will make the best of every day and we should all strive to do the same. Love to you and your family, Joanne McGinn

Dear Barry and Pam,
You are giving us all lessons in how we should live our lives - focusing on the positive and enjoying each day. Life is precious, and we waste so much of it worrying about things that don't matter.
We are thinking of you, praying for you, and sending you a "virtual hug" until we can hug you in person.
Hugs from Massachusetts,
Mary Beth and Paul

Hi Barry. I was just checking in on your blog and noticed that you have had over 50,000 visitors in the 11 months that this site has been up. I put my ND education to work and did a little math. Do you know that on average 150 people check in on you every day? Talk about a virtual hug! You should feel very loved-- especially from the group in Dayton.

Love, Beth

Hi Barry,

Great seeing you in the OR the other day.

I echo your thoughts on every day being special and worthy of praise and the great value of 'hugs'. I learned that following my heart surgery in 1998.

Isn't it ironic that to fully appreciate our lives, loved ones and friends, often times, a crisis situation or 'earth-shattering' experience has to happen.

Isn't it wonderful that your crisis has given you and Pam that special insight and that you guys are enjoying life to the fullest and getting soooo much from each day. Keep up the good work. Way to go, Bare!

The # of 'hits' on your blog is a clear indicator of your impact on so many lives and how much your family, friends and peers love you.

Will continue to pray for you, Pam and family.

Warmest regards and a virtual hug,
Marlene Hill

Barry it's so true about the power of hugs and a positve attitude! You have more people hugging each other because they know how important it is to you and each other.
Your spirit is catchy!

Best of luck in Halifax, we will be thinking about you and hoping for a miracle.
Hugs, Nina and Bob Webster
