Hi friends,
Another great week. Continuing to feel well . Enjoyed the races at
Old Home Week. No complaints at all. I'm just continuing with the
same chemotherapy. Next MRI is in September.
I think we will have to re-emphasize the hugs. I am getting all lot
of good feedback both live and on the blog.
Giving hugs is like banking. The more you deposit, the more you can
withdraw. And you never lose interest
Remember the value of the suprise hug.
Love you all,
Barry

Hi Barry,

Glad to hear you are feeling good ... and wish you all the best. You have a wonderful sense of humor which I am sure will carry you a long way .. along with those many hugs.

I remember taking my son to see you (quite a long time ago, he is almost 25 now)- he got hurt playing hockey and I got a great chuckle out of a comment you made to him. You said he would have to take up something a little easier, like ballet and get one of those pink skirts.. Hugs to you and your family, Barry.

Hi Doc:

So happy to run into you at the races during OHW! It was so nice to see you, and to give you a "surprise hug"! :)

Along with countless others, I miss you, and love you. As someone else said, the 'new guy' is no BARRY LING!!!

Take care, and God Bless.

Hi Dr. Barry

Just getting caught up with your blog today, thanks to son Darryl. I've been trying to nurse my mother back to health from her knee replacement on July 19th. She wasn't able to get to the rehab in Ch'Town or the restorative care area in S'Side and I believe this put her terribly behind in her progress. Of course, she just turned 89 which I'm sure is a big factor in her very slow recovery. She also developed gout in her ankle on the same side as the surgery. She's had various complications ever since. At times I really feel like she's not gonna make it but I take one day at a time. I've moved out bag and baggage with her and my 92 year old Father in K'Town. So, right now its me that can stand all the I Love You's and hugs and kisses that I can possibly get. I too agree what one person said on your blog, that I'm afraid thats theirs just one Dr Barry Ling and no one will ever take his place. Thanks so much for keeping us updated on your current health situation. All the very best to you and Pam and you are both in my thoughts and prayers as always. Am also sending to you a great big bear hug and God Bless You.
