9 more days

Hi friends,
Another rather uneventful week is done--just nine more days of treatment left. We 're not tired of the treatments but rather of the routine. It will be nice to finish and settle into a more normal style at home. Fatigue, appetite, and short term memory are a problem but not too bad. Overall, I can't complain.

We went to the Lebanese New Years Party at the Delta on Saturday night. Had an absolute great time. The food, the music, the people were all so enjoyable. Pam even got me up dancing. Looked pretty fancy in my tuxedo with the radiotherapy haircut.

Have a good week all of you and we'll be in touch.

Love,
Pam and Barry

Good to hear you're doing well! :)

Hopefully you guys took it easy on mom and dad on the dance floor last night... we don't need dad's knee replacement coming any sooner than needed!

Always thinking about the both of you...

Much love,

Hey guys! I'm so glad to hear you're still tolerating the treatments fairly well Barry! You're a superhero in my eyes, because you could complain, but you choose not to - very inspiring. I've got both of you in my prayers, take care.
Love,
Danielle

Think of you frequently and wishing you all the best in your recovery. Unit 1 is not as lively without your presence, i'm sure.

Hi Barry & Pam,
Great to hear you are getting out and enjoying yourselves. Wonderful that you are on the home stretch with your treatments. It seems like yesterday that we had the potluck at work. Time sure flies!!! Thoughts and prayers are with you every day. Keep your chin up and take care.

Hi Barry & Pam,

We've been tracking your progress thru the blog, and glad to hear you're doing so well. If it continues thru the Summer, the 'memory loss' should help keep your scores around par. We'll keep the Irish prayers heading your way...
