New Year's Greeting

Hi folks,
Hope everyone enjoyed the New Years time. We certainly did and now it's time to get back to business. Pam's taking a well-deserved break this week so Suzie is going to accompany me to Halifax for the week. I can see it now-- me, Suzie, and my credit card for all those sales. Poor Suzie!

Feeling pretty good, a little nausea and loss of appetite, a little fatigue, and some hair loss on the right side of my noggin from the radiation. Three more weeks of treatment and then it's finger crossing time. The statistics for this particular tumour are extremely poor, unfortunately. However, you have to play the cards you're dealt.

Love,
Barry and Pam

Hi Barry & Pam,

I am glad to hear you are doing pretty good with both treatments.

It was great to see you at the Christmas Party..Everyone was so happy to see you...even the hotel staff were asking me if you were coming to the party.

Keep your fingers crossed and chin up for results of your treatment in three weeks time. You, Pam and your family are in our thoughts daily.

Love, prayers and positive thoughts ....Jennifer

Hi Barry !

A very happy new year to you and yours. We are very happy about the good results of your operation and hope you have nothing but good reports in 2007.
We can certainly share your appreciation of the staff at the
Q.E.2 in Halifax. They certainly know their business.
You were not only well known in the oncology unit before you left, but also in the cardiac unit before you arrived.
When I was there in May, the scar on my leg was quite prominent, as your cast had to be removed before they could fix me up. So a lot of the staff saw your needlework, thought it was great, and wanted to know who did the job,and I told them. One very humourous nurse from Cape Breton said," and the same guy probably couldn't sew a button on his shirt". They sure know how pick a guy up when it's needed.
Anyway Barry, just wanted let you know we are thinking of you and hope for a big revcovery.

Skip and Andrea.
