MRI Results

This isn't a lengthy report, but it is a good one. They did the MRI today and Barry's surgeon is very pleased with how the surgery went. Barry and Pam will meet with specialists tomorrow to discuss the next steps.

Hi,Boss -
Fifie has been bugging me all day to contact you and find out when you are coming home. We both miss you - Fifie more than me. There are some nice bitches here that I can romp with. Fifie is too shy to warm up to anybody.

We do not get any treats here but they let us out into the courtyard for some exercise. It is not as good as at home where I can run up and down the burm. We miss our cages at night too.

It is okay here but not near as good as at home. Please come back soon.

Love from Joey. Fifie sends you a bark too.

Barry,

Sorry to hear of these difficult times you are going through, our thoughts are with you every day.

It's at times like these when we reach out and say the things we should have said all along.... Thanks Barry for always having that sparkle in your eye, and being so good to us! I always felt better knowing you were looking after us!You've gotten us through Christie's broken arm and 2 casts!, Alex's broken collar bone, and getting Julie seen in Halifax, not to mention giving me those painful needles!! Hope you'll be up to no good soon! Take care of yourself.

Debbie, Andrew, Curtis, Christie, Alex and Julie Hall

Hi Barry and Pam!

I am an avid reader of your blog and was glad to read the good news following your MRI.

DID YOU KNOW…that MRI can be used not only to look at living organisms but also to detect the composition of geological structures? So, I’m thinking it’s possible that it could be used to determine what we’ve wondered for so long…if you do in fact have rocks in your head!

My best wishes and prayers for a quick recovery.

Spike

Dear Dr.Ling and Pam.
I have enjoyed being able to check in to see how the good doctor is doing each day, it has been quite a few weeks for you and your family but it is good to hear that you are feeling better and have a plan in motion for treatments. With all that is happened it is good to hear that great sense of humour, hang onto your blankie and all will be good in the world.

Hi Barry,
Spook just told me of your surgery and MRI. I'm very relieved all went well. I'm coming up to the 1st anniversary of finishing surgery, radiation and chemoherapy for metastatic malignant melanoma in my Lymp nodes - and I'm better then ever!!! Your friends, family and " the little things " will get you through this. Put your head down and lean into the wind, my thoughts will be with you every day.
Love Mitch
