Hi Cous!
The Poker Chicks are coming over to your place Friday night. I know you won't want to miss seeing us. We've finally all learned how to deal, so we won't be bothering you for that, but you are welcome to observe how good we've all become, and how our faces never give us away anymore.

Dear Pam and Barry,
Thinking of you as always. Enjoyed seeing Dave in Hartford - Paul took more pictures, but had a rest during the third period ( a little matter of a ten-minute misconduct!). It was nice to see a team we're rooting for win on Saturday - we were at the B's/Habs last night. No more need be said. But, having learned from you to look on the bright side, we had a night out, a nice dinner, and no beer was spilled.
Sending hugs from Massachusetts,
Mary Beth and Paul

That WAS a good chuckle!! Thanks Morgan. Andrew (nephew to B.) will definitely be adding that to his high school band's blog that he maintains. The principal may not be too thrilled as he may have 800 teenagers strolling through the halls to the music!! But..heh..he chose education! Thanks again from Winnipeg HUGS

Hey Barry! Tom Large here, Beth's old friend from South Bend, I'm the orthopaedist in the US Air Force. Just wanted to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers and to let you know that I got some good stories about you from Andrew Trenholm (trauma in Halifax, who did his fellowship at my residency in Charlotte (he was at Dalhousie aslo) back about 5-6 yrs ago now. Anyway, the story about you "taking care" of the patient's family member that was harrassing your chairman at a restaurant is always good for some laughs (it was a different era), I think the quote I heard was that the residency review guy said something along the lines of "well, I guess we don't have to worry about loyalty in your program." You're quite the legend in many ways. Take care,
Tom

Hey guy, we think of you often. Your courage and great sense of humour can not be destroyed, regardless of what hand you have been dealt. You are an inspiration to many. Hang in there.
